Dragobrath

The musical group Dragobrat whose songs are popular in a fairly wide circle of the population of Ukraine is a musical Ukrainian group that was formed in Lviv in 2004. The project was named so in honor of the mountain called Dragobrat. This can be explained by the fact that the group wanted to emphasize that their work is closely related to the ancient lands of the Carpathian Mountains.

The frontman of the group is undoubtedly Synevyr, who holds the position of vocalist and main composer. He has a talent for combining different musical styles (metal, aggressive, etc.) so that they sound harmonious at the same time.

The conceptual creative side of the musical gang is based on the cultural heritage of the Carpathians, on the main Slavic traditions and many mystical aspects of the Druids.

In fact, all of 2004, the guys were actively working on the recording and presentation of their debut music collection entitled "Scripture of the Woods". Krukh becomes the main vocalist of the band.

The first album includes eight musical compositions written by the head of the band, as well as one cover to the single "Transylvanian Hunger" by Darkthrone musicians.

If you look at the collection from a lyrical point of view, it is obvious that it personifies the slowed down anamorphosis of what is happening today in the ancient forgotten pagan time frames.

The end of 2005 was remembered for the Dragobrat collective by the fact that the project concluded a long-term agreement on joint cooperation with the Russian production organization Stygian Crypt Productions. After some time, they together were able to publish a debut common music collection. At the onset of 2007, the Krukh soloist decided to leave the team. But, practically at the same hour, Tchugaister took his place.

Only after these changes in the line-up, the guys began to record another music collection. In 2007, in the autumn, the musicians conclude an agreement with the producer organization from Poland "Eastside Production". After a year of joint cooperation, they will present the second collection of "Dragobrat" - "And Mountains Openeth Eyes...".

Both vocals and everything related to musical accompaniment fell on Synevyr's shoulders. The vocal abilities of the newly minted vocalist Tchugaister will have an opportunity for fans to appreciate only by listening to the latest composition.

By the end of 2009, the project manages to present the third collection "Fra Myrer Taake". The advantage of this album was that, as it should be, all the vocals were performed by the proper vocalist Tchugaister, everything related to musical instruments was performed by Synevyr.

In 2011, at the beginning of winter, a promo-version of a new collection entitled "WhisperHerbs" was posted on the official website of the project. At that time, only one frontman remained in the group, so several other members of the Kings & Beggars music band helped him record the album.
